Thanks for coming by! What I want to get into today is Website traffic and keeping your website with a steady flowof visitors. Lets face it, no traffic equals, no business and if you have enough traffic, even an ugly poorly put together website will make sales. And I am certainly not advocating that someone should produce an ugly website. But they do exist and some do well, because of the shear volume of website traffic they receive.
If you want to keep a constant flow of traffic coming to your site, there are a few things you are going to want to keep in mind. Now this is a topic that is highly debated, and frankly I don’t get why. The search engines are indeed important to most of what you do online, and to not optimize a site or your blog to please the search engines is just silly.
There are as many methods for generating website traffic as you could possibly imagine, but there are some that are quite a bit more common and used by a larger percentage of online marketers than some others. Firstly if you have the money to invest then PPC or pay-per-click is a great option for those who fully understand pay per click and those who don’t pay big penalties and Lose a lot of money.
When pay per click is done and done right your investment can easily give you a return of double your investment and I will take that all day long. Now the other thing about pay-per-click is when using google adwords, your ability to receive quality traffic within about 15 minutes is pretty much assured. Another method is Article Writing or Article Marketing Essentially your writing 400+ word articles and submitting them to article directories and as you may have guessed I am a pretty big fan of this method. Here the nice thing about article marketing. Not only will you get traffic from those folks at the directory, if your article is well written and informative, then you stand a good chance of others posting your article on their websites. Giving you a chance to drive even more traffic to your business. On top of that when writing articles and optimizing them properly will get you good placement in the search engines.
Another benefit you’ll have is incoming links from the directories. That counts as positive votes for your website further increasing the relevancy of your site as it climbs the search results.
It’s a method of traffic that grows exponentially and goes on and on. Now you must be consistent to really see this work in your favor, writing a couple articles here and there isn’t going to get the job done. However if you write 5 articles a day and submit them before You know you got a150 different search engine optimized articles out there creating website traffic, possibly being added to other peoples websites and with any luck You’ll also have many of them placing on the first pages of the search engines.
