There is no denying that the search engines have a love affair with blogs and bloggers. Since the advent social media and social marketing, blogs have become more relevant than ever. Blogs and blogging are simply another extension of your business entering the social environment of business.
Blogs allow your prospects to interact with you, and get to know you on a more personal level. It allows you to build on going relationships with customers helping them answer any issues they face in your chosen niche. Through this ability to interact, your building credibility and trust. There is nothing more relevant than building trust with your customers.
Now what makes a blog a traffic magnet is your able to optimize your blog posts to please the search results. It’s like article marketing on steroids, and when done right the search engines take notice. I am often asked what the best policy is for optimization.
There really are no simple answers, and you will get different responses from different sources. However I typically start by writing for you the visitor, and I try to optimize with approximately 25 percent saturation of my chosen keyword. What you don’t want to do is over saturate with your keywords, the search engines are smart enough to know what your trying to accomplish.
However if you can get your chosen keyword in the first paragraph a couple times, and sprinkle your keyword or keyword phrase a few times through out the body of your article, and then make sure you get it in the last sentence or paragraph you should be good to go.Bottom line for me, is I write for you, and pay attention to keywords as best I can. However I won’t make my post for the sake keywords sound silly.
Blogs and Bloggers have a benefits over traditional static sites and I am often asked if Blogs are a better option than a static mini site. Up front I will say yes. However if you have had, lets say a mini site up for a year or 2, I would definitely no let it go.
Chances are your mini site or ecommerce store has been pulled out of googles sand box and is fully recognized. Simply link your blog and your site together for maximum benefit. If you have a mini site or an ecommerce store this is all very easy to accomplish. Check with your web host and see how to best accomplish it. But definitely add a blog. It is the best inforamtion management system a business could have.
