Web traffic! There are as many ways to drive traffic to an online business as you could possibly imagine. Not all traffic sources are created equal. Let me explain a bit first. What works for some does not work for others and the simplest explanation I can give you for that is that people like different things. While one might love article marketing the next guy is going find it unpleasant. Well I am sure you can guess the results that a person would get.

So finding the the traffic sources that suit you and your needs is very important. Finding methods of driving traffic  that you will actually enjoy performing on a day to day basis. That is one of the reasons I like Ross Goldbergs ebook called Traffic Manifesto. It offers up over 70 traffic tactics to take advantage of. It gives pretty clear instruction on how to create a non stop flood of traffic to your site or blog.

For what ever reason many online business owners focus a great deal on only free methods to drive traffic and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but you may want to consider mixing in some google pay per click advertising. It is the fastest way to drive traffic to a new a business. However this is not a tactic to jump into with out any knowledge as it can burn up the credit limit of your card in a hurry. (more…)

Pay per click offers you the opportunity to put together different controls that you can test to see which ad you put together performs the best. Now this really doesn’t take all that much extra time, but it is surprising to me how few do it. When your working with pay-per click campaigns, this is an essential step to get the most out of your dollars spent. Thanks for coming by! What I want to get into today is Website traffic and keeping your website with a steady flowof visitors. Lets face it, no traffic equals, no business and if you have enough traffic, even an ugly poorly put together website will make sales. And I am certainly not advocating that someone should produce an ugly website. But they do exist and some do well, because of the shear volume of website traffic they receive.

If you want to keep a constant flow of traffic coming to your site, there are a few things you are going to want to keep in mind. Now this is a topic that is highly debated, and frankly I don’t get why. The search engines are indeed important to most of what you do online, and to not optimize a site or your blog to please the search engines is just silly.

There are as many methods for generating website traffic as you could possibly imagine, but there are some that are quite a bit more common and used by a larger percentage of online marketers than some others. Firstly if you have the money to invest then PPC or pay-per-click is a great option for those who fully understand pay per click and those who don’t pay big penalties and Lose a lot of money.
