Blogging traffic, Web traffic No Comments »

Web traffic! There are as many ways to drive traffic to an online business as you could possibly imagine. Not all traffic sources are created equal. Let me explain a bit first. What works for some does not work for others and the simplest explanation I can give you for that is that people like different things. While one might love article marketing the next guy is going find it unpleasant. Well I am sure you can guess the results that a person would get.

So finding the the traffic sources that suit you and your needs is very important. Finding methods of driving traffic  that you will actually enjoy performing on a day to day basis. That is one of the reasons I like Ross Goldbergs ebook called Traffic Manifesto. It offers up over 70 traffic tactics to take advantage of. It gives pretty clear instruction on how to create a non stop flood of traffic to your site or blog.

For what ever reason many online business owners focus a great deal on only free methods to drive traffic and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but you may want to consider mixing in some google pay per click advertising. It is the fastest way to drive traffic to a new a business. However this is not a tactic to jump into with out any knowledge as it can burn up the credit limit of your card in a hurry. (more…)

Once you can get a steady stream traffic coming you’ll make money.

There are many factors that make blogs much better than normal Web ages including the speed at which blogs are indexed, ability to submit to blog directories & normal directories, pings and track backs. All these little things can help drive more traffic to blogs. Here are traffic techniques you can use to maintain a steady flow of traffic day in and day out. When you first start out try to do a blog post a day. At least for the first 30 days and be sure to optimize your post properly.

Proper use of keywords and keyword phrases is key to getting your post listed in the search results of the search engines. The reason I say for the first 30 days at minimum is because you want the search engines to sit up and take notice of you and the content your are creating. Once this begins they will start to crawl your site more than once a day. (more…)

Driving Traffic and Using Video To Do It

Blogging traffic, website traffic No Comments »

Its no secret at all that video is becoming almost as common place as logging on to your computer. In my other online ventures I have used video to generate traffic and I got to tell you that it is a very powerful tool for any online business owner. So many are afraid to jump on the video band wagon because they are afraid of the perceptions of others and how they will be received.

I suppose this is kinda justifiable. I mean really, your throwing yourself out there for all eyes to see. I to had the same feelings and my stomach used to get a bit upset at the thought of having my face and my voice out there for everyone and to be honest i have only done a few. All you have heard about video as a method of driving large amounts of traffic are true. (more…)

But after that all was good and it was pretty easy to justify the effort of promotion, because there was plenty of good content there to maintain interests. (more…)
