Understanding PPC Advertising

Pay Per Click No Comments »

Forbes magazine has reported that PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising spend has reached $8 billion in 2008. The three basic core elements that form the starting point of a successful PPC (Pay-Per-Click) ad program are constant administration, analysis, and refinement.

PPC (Pay-Per-Click) search engines offer a way to buy your way to the top of search results for any term you wish. With proper PPC management, and a clear focus, PPC (Pay-Per-Click) search engines can offer some of the most well targeted and cost-effective ways of advertising on the Internet.

PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising works through a bidding process, and the ads appear prominently on the results pages of search engines such as Google and Yahoo. Make Money Blogging With Fresh Dynamic Web Content That Keeps People Coming Back For More

Blogs, RSS and Podcasting No Comments »

Any webmaster who is hoping to make money blogging should make sure that they make simplicity in design and presentation a priority. No longer are internet users taken in by fancy website designs and flashy graphics, but instead they want fast access to the best dynamic web content that is relevant to what they are searching for.

Dynamic content has proven to be one of the most important elements in not only getting targeted traffic to a website or blog, but also in bringing them back to the site again and again. Webmasters across the board agree that it is much better to offer the things that web visitors seek so that they return rather than constantly trying to find new visitors. It is much easier to make money blogging when your blog attracts repeat visitors as its estimated a site visitor often needs to see your message up to seven times before making a purchase.

At the same time that dynamic web content is very important to the visitors to a site, it is also fundamental to attracting the search engines and gaining a favorable placement in the search engine ranking pages, often called SERPs. These days, all of the search engines give a lot of weight to fresh content that is kept updated and to user-generated content, in addition to relevant information about the keyword used for the search. Tips To Drive Traffic To Your Blog

Blogging traffic, website traffic 1 Comment »

We have pretty much established what a fan I am of blogging and the search engine opportunities you get with blogs that you simply don’t get with static sites. And we have pretty much established as well, that blogs as a business model is the new wave of doing business online. What I want to get into today is keeping the traffic flowing to your blog. Once you can get a steady stream traffic coming you’ll make money.

There are many factors that make blogs much better than normal Web ages including the speed at which blogs are indexed, ability to submit to blog directories & normal directories, pings and track backs. All these little things can help drive more traffic to blogs. Here are traffic techniques you can use to maintain a steady flow of traffic day in and day out. When you first start out try to do a blog post a day. At least for the first 30 days and be sure to optimize your post properly.

Proper use of keywords and keyword phrases is key to getting your post listed in the search results of the search engines. The reason I say for the first 30 days at minimum is because you want the search engines to sit up and take notice of you and the content your are creating. Once this begins they will start to crawl your site more than once a day. Read the rest of this entry »
